Duties to include:
Role model practitioner, delivering high quality practice with children in the Baby and Toddler and/or 2-5’s provision in line with the management guidance.
Sharing responsibility for the preparation of learning areas before children arrive, both indoors and outdoors.
Working as a member of a team in the delivery, planning and evaluation of a full and balanced range of learning experiences, which meet the emotional, physical, social and intellectual needs of the children.
Responsible for writing observations on children at free play and focused group time covering all the areas of the EYFS. It will also be your responsibility to collate this documentation into each of your key children’s files and to keep them up to date. Summative Assessments or 24-36 months Progress Checks or Transfer records must be completed based on yours and other practitioner’s observations. These are part of our assessment process and must be completed towards the end of each term.
